Opinions are suggestive. Everyone has them, they are not always right or wrong, but they belong to us. My problem with opinions is when someone has an opinion of me that they have never taken the time to find out if it is real. They decide to judge me and treat me like they think of me. Please take the time to find out who I am and what I am made of. You might like what you find out. There are many who do. I am capable, intelligent, witty, loyal, trustworthy, loving and sometimes funny.
I try really hard to not judge people until I know something about them or if they have affected me in any way. All I ask is the same in return. When someone uses their opinion of me to make or break my career is unacceptable. Allow me the opportunity to prove myself. Whatever opinion you have created of me in 5 days is not what I am.
It is unreal to me that my career future is based off of someone’s opinion of me. I have not been there long enough for someone to even get to know me or interact with me enough to know who I am. Yet, they can decide whether I stay employed or not. All it takes is a simple phone call to have my employment terminated. I have not even started to do the work yet.
Opinion; not a good reason to judge someone. Take the time to do the research first then after you have your facts you can make a judgment, and only then. Be fair but also be reasonable. Opinions, will always be a part of our life, let’s not make it what we rule our lives after.
